Privacy

MingKi App is an urgent request messaging app for anyone who needs help from their family and friends, especially elderly people, children, dementia patients, people lying in the bed always, etc. When they just tap a button, the corresponding contacts will receive notifications and then go to help them immediately. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refers to MingKi, and ‘you’ refers to you, the user of the Services.

Information you provide

Account Information. You register email adddress, phone number, first name, last name when you create a MingKi account. Email addresses and phone numbers are used to provide our Services to you and other MingKi users. You may optionally add other information to your account, such as profile picture. You may need to verify your email address when MingKi sends you verification email. Email address will be used to send you password reset link if you forget it.

Messages. MingKi would not scan the content of your messages. All messages are private between you an your contacts. No censorship would be executed. We would not use the content of your messages for any product sales and promotion purposes.

Locations. MingKi can optionally discover your location and include location information in messages when you agree to share your location with your contacts.

Contacts. MingKi would not access your address book on the device. Only contacts which are MingKi users can be added as your contacts.

User Support. If you contact MingKi User Support, any personal data you may share with us is kept only for the purposes of researching the issue and contacting you about your case.

Retention. Unless stated otherwise in this Privacy Policy, the personal data that you provide us will only be stored for as long as it is necessary for us to fulfill our obligations in respect of the provision of the Services.

The instances where MingKi may need to share your data

To meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
To enforce applicable Terms, including investigation of potential violations.
To detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues.
To protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of MingKi, our users, or the public as required or permitted by law.
To submit request to send push notification to devices via third party server.
